The Time is at Hand

he atrocities, madness, chaos, lies and deception are all on the rise.  Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, severe weather, floods, mudslides, and sinkholes are all on the rise.  Disease, famine, and mass animal deaths are all on the rise.  All of these things are becoming more frequent and more intense!

These are all warning signs that the end of the world as we know it will soon come to an end.  That the closeness of Christ’s return is at hand.

The world is becoming a mad house!  Nothing seems to make much sense anymore.  There is much chaos and confusion.  What was right is now wrong and what was wrong is now right.  Evil and violence are the news of the day, each and everyday.  Disaster, destruction, war, rumors of wars, disobedience, unlawfulness, and lustful pleasures are the headlines, from morning tell night.

There’s a spirit of chaos in the world changing the times that we now live in.  It’s a spirit of deception and lies, of confusion and chaos.  It’s demonic, supernatural, and powerful.  The truth has been twisted into lies and madness!  What at one time seemed logical and to make sense, is now confusing, illogical, and nonsensical.  

In the not to distant past, these things used to be seen as very strange and unusual occurrences.  They were once thought of as shocking, difficult to believe that they even happened!  But today they are the main event.  In fact, they are happening so often that they seem normal to us now.  No shock, no dismay, just more news for the day.

This is the saddest thing of all, that none of these things are not shocking to us anymore!  They’re now just a normal part of our everyday lives.

The warning signs are here, they are all around us, as a woman in labor, the contractions are stronger and more frequent, just as the bible tells us they will be just before the return of Jesus Christ!

Many of those who we respect and look to for support, turn in their views and opinions of what is right and wrong.  This includes government officials, school teachers, parents, friends, and yes, even many churches and pastors!  Many have been deceived, they have fallen into a trap and are blinded to the truth.  They lead many into destruction and unrighteousness.

Most of the world is deceived with lies and twisted versions of the truth.  They live in a world of sin, evil, and wickedness.  Just as in the days of Noah, they do not listen, but instead they scoff and mock.  They do not heed the warning calls, they do not hear the bells ringing loudly.  They cannot see the lifeline that has been tossed out before them.  Noah was a man who walked with God, preaching the truth.  As Noah proclaimed the sudden destruction of the world, most of the world did not listen.  Instead, they fell to destruction, so too will most of the world today.

Matthew 24:37-39

³⁷ “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. ³⁸ For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, ³⁹ and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

The world is a very ugly place, but I’m telling you that it will get much worse!  The tide is turning, the land is shaking, and the earth is trembling at what is soon coming.  Increased war, violence, evil, hatred, civil disobedience, chaos, confusion, deception, lies, sinful pleasures, earthquakes, natural disasters, disease, plagues, death.  Don’t believe me?  What did the world look like just 20 years ago?  Did we see all of what we see today happening back then?  How about 10 years ago?  What about 5 years ago?  Times are changing so very quickly that we can’t even keep up with it all.  It’s not only getting worse by the decade or by the year, but by the day!  God is patient, but the time is coming soon for His wrath to be poured out upon the world!

As in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord shall pour out His wrath upon an unbelieving, wicked and sinful world.  Fire and brimstone will rain down from the skies.  Many people think that the stories of the bible are just stories, but there is evidence that the destruction of these cities really happened as written about in the bible.  Brimstone has been found in both of the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah!  Large balls of sulfur, imbedded into the landscape.

Nahum 1:2-3

²“God is jealous, and the Lord avenges;
The Lord avenges and is furious.
The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His enemies;
³ The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked.”

Revelation 6:15-17

¹⁵‘And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, ¹⁶ and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! ¹⁷ For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” ‘

The trumpets are sounding, the bells are clanging, the warning alarms are ringing!  Listen to what the Lord says.  Be aware, alert, and focused.  Awake from your slumber, for the time is at hand!

Matthew 24:42

⁴² “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.“

Romans 13:11-14

¹¹ “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. ¹² The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. ¹³ Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. ¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”

 Our time is short.  These end times are moving quickly before us.  This is the time to be ready and alert.  No one knows the day nor the hour of Christ’s return, but we shall know the season and it is now!

If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then I strongly urge you to do it now before its too late!  He is the only way to salvation and eternal life.  The only way to heaven.  He is your lifeline, your ark of salvation!
