Not everyone sees things the same way. We all have our own worldly perspective on life. Experiences which have molded our views, our morals and values. Unfortunately these beliefs, views, and perspectives are flawed if we have not first placed our trust in Jesus Christ!
We are born into sin, have a sin nature, and a sinful heart. Our desires our of the flesh, not of the spirit. Our spirits our dead until they are born again through the blood of Jesus. It is not until then, that we can begin to live through and of the spirit, not the flesh.
Even though we are as Christians, born again of the spirit, we can still be steered in the wrong direction by the flesh. The flesh is weak and sinful. The spirit seeks the things of God and heaven above.
This fight that we have between our flesh and our spirit can often lead us in the wrong direction. It can influence our thoughts, our beliefs, and our attitudes. It causes even Christians to disagree and fight with one another.
Let us all put aside the things of the flesh, and focus on the things of the spirit. Let us focus on the Spirit of God, on Jesus Christ! Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you! Let’s not forget that my friends.
We are a mixture of the sinful experiences in life and the holiness of God Almighty. Being transformed by the daily renewing of our minds, the sanctification of the Holy Spirit, and the blood of the Lamb. One day we will be made perfect as Jesus is perfect. But, this is a process, a cleansing, and a daily process. We are not yet changed in the twinkling of an eye, but one day soon we will be! Amen
So let us put off our arrogance, our pride, and look to the One who has cleansed us of all sin, Jesus Christ! Let us come to one another with a spirit of humility, of forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
