horn of satan
NewsRescue
Towards the end times according to what is regarded as authentic narrations, Sahih Hadith of the Prophet of Islam, at the end times there will be much afflictions in today’s Syria and Yemen and the “horn of Satan” will emerge from Najd, which is today’s Saudi Arabia. This could mean evil emanating from the nation. The affiliations in Syria and Yemen today, also in fulfillment of the prediction cannot be missed.
The Hadith states:
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: (The Prophet) said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham (Syria) and our Yemen.” People said, “Our Najd as well.” The Prophet again said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and Yemen.” They said again, “Our Najd as well.” On that the Prophet said, “There will appear earthquakes and afflictions, and from there appears the Horn of Satan.” (Book #17, Hadith #147, Bukhari)
Is the Crescent Clock A Sign Of The Horn Of Satan?
Now Muslims around the entire world pray facing the towering ‘horn of Satan.’ Some say “horn of Satan” refers to global evil and terror sponsored by the Saudi monarchs, others say it is the Crescent clock towering above the Kaaba, some say it is both, the symbol and the regime that put it there.

The four-faced clock, atop the Abraj Al-Bait Towers, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia stands over the holy Kabaa. The tallest tower in the complex will stand as the tallest building in Saudi Arabia, tallest and largest hotel in the world, with a planned height of 601 m (1,972 ft), including a 200 ft spire. Upon completion, the structure would have the largest floor area of any structure in the world with 1,500,000 m2 (16,150,000 sq ft) of floorspace. Najd, also spelled Nejd,  region, central Saudi Arabia, comprising a mainly rocky plateau sloping eastward from the mountains of the Hejaz. On the northern, eastern, and southern sides, it is bounded by the sand deserts of Al-Nafūd, Al-Dahnāʾ, and the Rubʿ al-Khali. It is sparsely settled, except for the fertile oases strung along the escarpment of Jabal (mountains) Ṭuwayq and the Al-ʿAramah plateau. The arid region remained politically divided among rival peoples until the mid-18th century, when it became the centre of the Wahhābī, a fundamentalist Islamic movement. Led by the Muslim scholarM uḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb and the Āl Saʿūd family, the movement consolidated Najd and expanded into Mecca in 1803.
Another Hadith buttressed the point, saying that at the end times Arabs would be misleading the people. When pried on what to do then, the Prophet of Islam said to stick to the “Muslims and their Imam/leader.” When further queried if there is no uniform “Muslims” and “Imam,” the Prophet then said to leave all sects (eg. Sunni, Shia, Wahhabi, etc) even if doing so would be suicidal:
Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman: The people used to ask Allah’s Apostle about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest I should be overtaken by them. So I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?” He said, “Yes.” I said, ‘Will there be any good after that evil?” He replied, “Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)” I asked, “What will be its taint?” He replied, “(There will be) some people who will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others.” I asked, “Will there be any evil after that good?” He replied, “Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell) Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell) Fire.” I said, “O Allah s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?” He said, “They will be from our own people and will speak our language.” I said, “What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my life?” He said, “Stick to the group of Muslims and their Imam.” I said, “If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an Imam ?” He said, “Then turn away from all those sects even if you were to bite (eat) the roots of a tree till death overtakes you while you are in that state.” [Sahih Bukhari]
Other related Hadith:
Narrated ‘Uqba bin ‘Umar and Abu Mas’ud: Allah’s Apostle pointed with his hand towards Yemen and said, “True Belief (Eeman) is Yemenite yonder (i.e. the Yemenite, had True Belief and embraced Islam readily), but sternness and mercilessness are the qualities of those who are busy with their camels and pay no attention to the Religion where the two sides of the head of Satan will appear. Such qualities belong to the tribe of Rabi’a and Mudar.”~Saheeh Al-Bukhaari, The Book of the Beginning of Creation, Hadeeth No. 3079
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Pride and arrogance are characteristics of the rural bedouins while calmness is found among the owners of sheep. Eeman is Yemenite, and wisdom is also Yemenite i.e. the Yemenites are well-known for their true belief and wisdom).” Abu ‘Abdullah (Al-Bukhari) said, “Yemen was called so because it is situated to the right of the Ka’ba, and Sham was called so because it is situated to the left of the Ka’ba.” ~Saheeh Al-Bukhaari, Book of the Virtues of the Prophet and His Companions, Hadeeth No. 3261

Tension, Anxiety, Somethings Coming!

something big is coming
Commentary By:  Gordon King
As we all know the world is becoming uglier by the day.  More wars and rumors of wars, new diseases, natural disasters, droughts, starvation, civil unrest, evil and wickedness.  Where does it end?  How long can this go on?!
I have been feeling anxious lately.  This is unusual for me over the past few years, due to the fact that God cured me of my depression and anxiety.  But last night was different.  I actually felt anxious!  I know that something is just not right.  It feels like something big is about to happen.
I feel the tension in my life, and in the world.  I feel it escalating past the point of no return.  To the point of bursting at the seems.  I can see and feel the wickedness intensifying, building upon itself.  Like a snowball rolling down the mountain, picking up more snow as it goes, growing larger and larger until it hits bottom, crashing into the village below.  Like a tornado building up speed and strength, merging with other tornadoes, becoming a behemoth super-cell, destroying whatever crosses its path.  It’s only a matter of time before they both come to a destructive end.
God is patient and He will not be mocked.  He is judging the nations, He is sending messages to the world.  His wrath will soon be poured out in righteous judgment.
This is all real folks.  Its not a story, its not a game.  Its our destiny!  Sin is destructive, its wicked, evil, and vile.  When you see it, rebuke it and take charge over it.  Use the power within to overcome.  God has given us what we need, lets use it to accomplish His will on earth.  Before its too late!
I feel that our time is much shorter than many imagine it to be.  That things are happening at an alarming pace.  That bible prophecy is unfolding rapidly.
God has chosen us for this time.  To be a witness to His glory.  Whatever happens, whatever comes our way, let us stand firm in our beliefs, in our faith to Jesus Christ.
Lord God give us the strength and the courage to overcome.  Lead us in the direction of your will.  Empower us with all we need to perform your will here on earth.  We give you thanks in all things.  We praise you, we honor you.  In Jesus holy name we pray.  Amen
God bless my friends!

Solar eclipse Friday has some looking for signs from God

Rare celestial event at the North Pole, ahead of the 3rd of 4 ‘blood moons,’ to be marked in Jerusalem with 2 minutes of interfaith prayer near the Temple Mount

While some Christian leaders debate whether the current celestial tetrad phenomenon — four blood moons in two years — signals the end of times, ahead of this Friday’s once-in-100,000-years full solar eclipse over the North Pole, a fledgling Israeli-American interfaith organization is ascribing to the heavenly displays a decidedly optimistic and universal spin.
Blood moons are full lunar eclipses in which the sun’s rays entering through the earth’s atmosphere make for a red, or blood-like appearance. Two instances of the current tetrad have already occurred, on April 15, 2014 (the Jewish Passover) and October 8, 2014 (Sukkot, or the Feast of the Tabernacles). The next blood moon is scheduled for April 4, 2015, the first day of Passover this year and two weeks after the upcoming solar eclipse.
According to popular American evangelical Pastor John Hagee, the blood moons are historically linked with a time period “that begins with a tragedy and ends with a triumph” for the Jewish people.
The Spanish expulsion of its Jews and discovery of the New World in 1492, the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and the Six Day War in 1967 are all examples of triumph overcoming tragedy, said Hagee. This epic saga will be presented in a movie based on his book, “Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change,” which is to be screened in select theaters on March 23.
In an interview with CBN News on the Christian Broadcasting Network, Hagee claimed that in each era marked by this tetrad phenomena, “there’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way.”
“I believe that in these next two years, we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world,” said Hagee, the head of the 1.3 million-strong Christians United for Israel organization he founded in 2006.
The two upcoming blood moons, Hagee said, are likely linked to Iran and the United State’s role in negotiating a nuclear deal. As reported by JTA, Hagee’s CUFI organization recently published full-page ads urging undecided Democrat senators to back a bill mandating congressional approval of any Iran nuclear deal.

“The only reason that Iran will not acquire a nuclear bomb will be that Israel chooses a military solution to that crisis,” Hagee said in the CBN interview.
“I believe that if that happens, it will start a series of events that will change the course of world history,” he said.
But not all take this semi-doomsday approach.
‘Every time one of these [tetrads] has come along, there has been a new opportunity, a new path, for the Jews’
The founders of a website devoted to Israeli Jews teaching Christians around the world see the heavenly displays as God’s way of marking milestones. They have scheduled two minutes of prayer at Jerusalem’s Western Wall during a full solar eclipse over the North Pole.
“When I put aside theories and just look at history, every time one of these [tetrads] has come along, there has been a new opportunity, a new path, for the Jews,” said Bob O’Dell from Austin, Texas, who has studied the phenomenon for 35 years.
O’Dell, a Christian American who founded Root Source with his partner, Israel-based Orthodox Jew Gidon Ariel, said, “In my experience, the worst things happen before the blood moons, not after.”

These lunar and solar eclipses are “almost like the opening and closing of a chapter,” with “big picture religious meaning,” he said.
“It seems to me that God does use natural events to signal his love — it’s not about trying to smash people with the hammer of judgment and stuff,” he said. “The Judeo-Christian view is he cares.”
To O’Dell these natural phenomena present a chance for existential questioning of the contemporary world.
As described in a popular Breaking Israel News article late last week, Ariel intends to pray during the two minutes of Friday’s solar eclipse over the North Pole (at 12:18 p.m. in Jerusalem) alongside potentially hundreds of Christian tourists.
The partners said the lunar eclipse, used by the Jewish sages as a metaphor for a prophecy for the Jewish people, two weeks after a solar eclipse, which signals a message for all other nations, could mean we’re embarking upon a period of potential universalist understanding.
Ariel has chosen to mark the solar eclipse’s path over water and mountainous ice on Friday through the recitation of Isaiah 11:9: “None will harm or destroy another on My entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is filled with water.”

Ariel, who eschews the term “interfaith” and instead calls himself a “Christian-Jewish friendship cultivator,” said he is just a regular American Orthodox immigrant who during his army service became interested in Christian supporters of Israel after seeing posters for the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem.
He told The Times of Israel that the topic is “engaging the imagination of Christians worldwide, who have a very next-world centric” way of thinking.
“I think it is the Jewish people’s mission to spread the knowledge of God, to be a light unto the nations. Now in the State of Israel, we’ve developed to a position in which we can be more active in that and share the ideas of ethical monotheism,” said Ariel, who is also the founder of the Facebook group Jews Who Love Christians Who Love Jews (And The Christians Who Love Them).
The two minutes of prayer, which Ariel will lead at the Southern Wall on the corner of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, has generated a lot of interest from Christian tourist groups, said Ariel.
“It’s astounding how people have been interested. We’ve received thousands of emails,” he said.
Although a spokesperson for the Tourism Ministry said in reference to the tetrad it “is not aware of any spike in Christian tourism related to this natural phenomenon,” it would be admittedly difficult to discern since tourism in general marks an uptick during the Jewish holidays, which is when the blood moons occur.
Whether or not Hagee’s more dire predictions about an irrevocably changed Middle East will come true, for the Roots Source team the important thing is that people are discussing the matter.

As Texan O’Dell laughingly told The Times of Israel, God “loves a mystery from time to time so we can all argue about it, tweet and Facebook, and have some fun trying to see if he’s up to something.”

As lakes become deserts, drought is Iran’s new problem

Only 15 years ago, Hamoun was the seventh largest wetland in the world, straddling 4,000 square kilometres (1,600 square miles) between Iran and Afghanistan, with water rolling in from the latter’s Helmand river (AFP Photo/Behrouz Mehri)
Zabol (Iran) (AFP) – Nazar Sarani’s village in southeast Iran was once an island. It is now a desert, a casualty of the country’s worsening water crisis.
“We live in the dust,” said the 54-year-old cattle herder of his home in the once exceptional biosphere of Lake Hamoun, a wetland of varied flora and fauna, which is now nothing but sand-baked earth.
Climate change, with less rainfall each year, is blamed, but so too is human error and government mismanagement.
Iran’s reservoirs are only 40 percent full according to official figures, and nine cities including the capital Tehran are threatened with water restrictions after dry winters.
The situation is more critical in Sistan-Baluchistan, the most dangerous area in Iran, where a Sunni minority is centred in towns and villages that border Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Only 15 years ago, Hamoun was the seventh largest wetland in the world, straddling 4,000 square kilometres (1,600 square miles) between Iran and Afghanistan, with water rolling in from the latter’s Helmand river.
But with dams since built in Afghanistan as well as other blocked pathways holding back the source of Hamoun’s diversity, the local economy has collapsed.
Some 3,000 families whose lifeline was fishing have left and young people head to other provinces for work.
- People are wasting water -
A study in 2013 by the World Resources Institute ranked Iran as the world’s 24th most water-stressed nation, with public consumption around twice the world average.
Government subsidies on water do nothing to encourage efficiency, and public education messages on television and radio are ignored.
Agricultural use — for water-heavy crops such as rice and corn — is thought to eat up nearly 90 percent of national supply, with experts saying irrigation is poorly managed, resulting in high wastage.
For those whose taps are running dry, the result is hardship and human turmoil: drug use is rising and sandstorms are causing respiratory illnesses.
Sarani’s village, Sikhsar, where wooden boats sit on hard mud that was once the waterfront, is a place that mother earth has transformed.
The area once had several villages, 3,000 cows, lakes and birds.
Sarani’s own herd used to number 100. Now down to just 10 cows, his depleted milk sales are not enough to feed the family or educate four children.
Most local youths have headed to the cities of Yazd, Semnan and Tehran to work as construction labourers.
The water problem is everywhere. Lake Urmia, a near 145-kilometre-long (90-mile), 48-kilometre wide salt lake near Iran’s northwest border with Turkey, is almost empty.
And in the city of Isfahan, an ancient jewel long dubbed “half the world” for its beautiful palaces, boulevards, bridges and mosques, the Zayanderud river that runs through it is often bone dry.
- Region warmer and drier -
Much like Sarani, Mohammad Bazi, a fellow shepherd in Hamoun, bemoans what he says is government inaction in Tehran, arguing that Afghanistan must be persuaded to reopen the valves.
With the land so parched, he often has to walk his cattle hundreds of kilometres to find suitable grazing. The lack of water has also caused milk quality to decline and, struggling to survive, he has slaughtered some of his cows.
Massoumeh Ebtekar, Iran’s vice president responsible for the environment, has said efforts are being made to protect Iran’s water rights that will see it flow back across the border.
“We need local, regional, and international cooperation,” she added.
The government is also working with the United Nations, but the challenges seem immense.
“The whole region is becoming warmer and drier,” said Gary Lewis, head of the UN Development Programme in Iran, calling for the Iranian and Afghan governments at the highest level to tackle it.
“The situation is unsustainable,” he added, noting climate change but naming water mismanagement as the main problem.
While Afghanistan is often blamed for the water shortage, its ambassador to Tehran, Nassir Ahmad-Nour, said it was wrong to view a country at war since 1979 as a culprit.
“The situation is even worse on our side of the border,” he added.

ISIS Urges Sympathizers to Kill U.S. Service Members It Identifies on Website

WASHINGTON — In a new online threat to American military personnel, the Islamic State has called on its members and sympathizers in the United States to kill 100 service members whose names, photos and purported addresses it posted on a website.
The group said that the personnel had participated in efforts to defeat it in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere.
Defense Department and F.B.I. officials said that they were aware of the website and were investigating the posting.
It does not appear that the information had been hacked from government servers. One Defense Department official, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that most of the information could be found in public records, residential address search sites and social media.
The officials said the list appears to be drawn from personnel who have appeared in news articles about airstrikes on the militant group.
Some of the names also appear to be drawn from the Defense Department’s own official reports on the campaign against the Islamic State, also known as ISIS and ISIL.
But the list also included armed services personnel and others in the United States or elsewhere who have had nothing to do with the bombing campaigns, officials said.
For instance, the list includes B-52 crew members stationed in Louisiana and North Dakota, but the air campaign is not using those bombers, the Defense Department official said. Several women are included on the list, but their faces in the photos were blurred. One of the photos appears to be at an official meeting with President Obama.
American officials have grudgingly acknowledged the cleverness with which the Islamic State has used the Internet, in particular social media. The posting of military personnel includes names, photographs and other information neatly formatted.
“With the huge amount of data we have from various different servers and databases, we have decided to leak 100 addresses so that our brothers in America can deal with you,” the Islamic State’s so-called Hacking Division said in the web posting.
It added: “And now we have made it easy for you by giving you addresses, all you need to do is take the final step, so what are you waiting for?”
The disclosure by the Islamic State highlights some of the challenges facing the military in balancing how it performs two essential functions: protecting its personnel while providing the American public with information.
Unlike other parts of the United States government, in particular other agencies dealing with national security affairs, the American military allows members of the media to spend time embedded with its personnel in the field, granting permission to identify and quote them in reports.

Shiite congregants in Sana’a called for death of Israel and the US; then an IS suicide bomber killed scores

(SOURCE)  A video recording of a deadly terrorist attack at a Shiite mosque in Yemen on Friday revealed that worshipers were chanting a slew of hateful slogans just as a suicide bomber detonated himself, killing scores of people.
The bombing, one of three committed in a pair of mosques, was carried out by the Islamic State during weekly prayers. At least 142 people were killed and 351 were wounded in the attacks, carried out in the Shiite rebel-controlled capital city of Sana’a.
The amateur video, hosted and translated by the Arabic media watchdog MEMRI, shows a preacher conducting a sermon at the Houthi al-Hashoosh Mosque, leading the crowd in an impassioned cry against Israel, the United States and Jews.
“Our belief in Allah will increase after today. We will triumph over their deceit and their arrogance. Allah is with us,” the preacher said.
“Death to America. Death to Israel. Curse upon the Jews. Victory to Islam. Allahu Akbar,” the worshipers recited en masse. Then a terrorist roaming among the mosque’s patrons detonated himself, causing a scene of mass panic.
The Shiite TV network aired footage from inside the al-Hashoosh Mosque, where screaming volunteers were using bloodied blankets to carry away victims. One of the dead was a small child. Corpses were lined up on the mosque floor and carried away in pick-up trucks.
A report on the rebel-owned al-Masirah TV said that hospitals were urging citizens to donate blood.
The Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, swept down from their northern strongholds and seized the capital last September. Allied with ousted former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh, they now control at least nine of Yemen’s 21 provinces. Earlier this year they put Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, the western-backed president, under house arrest. Hadi has since fled to the southern city of Aden, where he established a temporary capital and maintains he is still the legitimate president.
The Sunni Islamic State group is currently fighting against the government forces in Iraq and Syria and Shiite militia groups supporting them, committing atrocities against them and other minority groups throughout the Middle East.
In an online statement, the previously unknown Sana’a branch of the jihadist group warned that the bombings were “just the tip of the iceberg.”
